Volunteer Call – Devil’s Glen Fall Colors
The Blue Mountain Bruce Trail Club is looking for volunteers to help advise curious hikers during the Fall season. If you’re available, we would be grateful for your support.
Background: One of the best places in the Blue Mountains section to view the Fall colours is at Devil’s Glen. Last Fall, due to both heightened media attention and an extended season, an exceptional number of visitors arrived each weekend. Unfortunately, our Landowners, Devil’s Glen Country Club and Devil’s Glen Provincial Park, experienced problems with overcrowding, littering, and wandering off Trail including onto Club and private properties.
DGCC and ON Parks are very valued Landowners whose permission for Bruce Trail access provides essential Trail connectivity. Both the BTC and our Club have committed to providing support this Fall to help avoid what occurred in 2024. Having Club volunteers present to provide direction and advice to visitors is the best way we can help.
