Overview
The Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC) is one of Ontario’s largest land trusts and the steward of Canada’s largest footpath. We actively preserve and care for land within the UNESCO-designated Niagara Escarpment Biosphere to protect its ecosystems for the benefit of all.

Volunteer Role Description 

The Communications Team focuses on helping the board and volunteer teams get their content onto social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
What you’ll be doing:
● help with communication strategies
● work in coordination with the Newsletter Editor, Advertising Coordinator, as well as
other board members to promote and enhance the Blue Mountains Club’s profile online and in the community.
● work remotely with occasional attendance at in-person events


What you’ll hopefully bring:
● knowledge and proficiency in using any smartphone,
● a passion for social media and media management, social media planning, content creation,
● experience with Facebook’s Meta manager
● If you have some photography skills that would be great!
This position requires 3-5 hours every month, however some times some times of the year will
be slower.
