The Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC) is one of Ontario’s largest land trusts and the steward of Canada’s largest footpath. We actively preserve and care for land within the UNESCO-designated Niagara Escarpment Biosphere to protect its ecosystems for the benefit of all.
Volunteer Role Description
As a mowing and trimming crew member, you will control grass and vegetation overgrowth on our trails to ensure safe and enjoyable hiking conditions. Experience with the safe operation and maintenance of mowing and trimming equipment is required. Access to a vehicle to transport equipment to the trail sites along our section is necessary. You will be
Responsible for establishing a regular mowing schedule and responding to any special situations that may be identified during the season.
