Highlands Art and Tree Trail – 2 km loop nestled high on the Escarpment above Duntroon. Re opens May 1.

Description: The Highlands Art & Tree Trail is more than a walk through the woods—it’s a journey through time. From fossilized coral reefs to living forests, from ancient Indigenous presence to ongoing conservation, and from cleared farmland to a rewilding landscape, this trail tells a powerful story of renewal. As you hike the trail and encounter each installation, we invite you to consider your own place within this evolving landscape—and to imagine the possibilities of a wilder, more connected future.

Created by the not-for-profit HealthWithNature.org, the Highlands Art & Tree Trail aims to deepen people’s appreciation for the Escarpment and give them another reason to get outdoors and experience nature wellness. Details about all the art installations and the artists are available at HealthWithNature.org. The trail itself is located on land provided in-kind by Duntroon Highlands Golf Club.
